About Picnic

Picnic has developed quite a reputation for its fun, fabulous food. Our inspired menus, based on classical French, American, and Mediterranean cuisines, have been satisfying clients and guests alike. We have a style that is all our own, creative and perfectly executed meals that are never overly pretentious or unapproachable.

We work individually with each client to custom design a menu that fits the vibe of the party, the occasion and of course, the palate of the guests, all while working within a budget. We are firm believers in the local, seasonal food movement, but more importantly we are committed to using small suppliers that provide us with top-notch ingredients. We hand select our products to ensure everything meets our clients expectations.

Despite its breezy name and easy-going ways, Picnic is not limited to fun outdoor events (although we do those quite well!), but is the caterer of choice for many high-end events, from parties on large yachts, to penthouses on Columbus Circle, 300-acre estates, the Council of Foreign Relations, and of course, numerous Missions to the United Nations and many top corporations. Our weddings are without compare, always unique, thoughtful and customized to every need and quirk of the wedding couple.

Thanks to a talented team of chefs and cooks, Picnic makes everything to order. Nothing is frozen or prefabricated. With this style, we can accommodate dietary restrictions such as low sodium, low sugar, and vegetarian.

And, Picnic really knows how to throw a party! You can count on us for full service party planning, coordinating all rentals if needed, and of course, providing sommelier services.
